Elite Auto Repair is a six-bay shop in South Philadelphia, owned by the people who work in it. Nobody here earns a commission on the parts we sell you.
Why we opened
Most people who walk into a repair shop expect to be sold something. They have learned to nod at a long list, ask for "just the urgent stuff", and drive away unsure whether they needed any of it.
We opened 17 years ago to run a shop where that never happens. The price is written down before the work starts. The worn part is photographed and shown to you. If a job can wait, we tell you how long, and if it can't, we tell you why.
That is the whole idea. It turns out that when people trust the estimate, they come back for the next one, and they send their neighbors.

You approve the price before we start
A written estimate, line by line. Nothing is added without your yes, and the approved total is the most you pay.
We show you the worn part
Photos and measurements by text, and the old part in a box on your seat if you want it.
We fix what is failing today
If your rotors can be resurfaced or your battery passes the test, we say so and charge nothing for saying it.
The technician talks to you
Call with a question and you reach the person who had their hands on your car.
We say no to jobs we should not do
High-voltage hybrid packs and dealer-only programming go to specialists we trust. We tell you who and why.

We are at 2140 Washington Avenue, a few minutes from I-76 and the South Street Bridge. Most of our customers live or work in:

Call before 10, drive home by 5
Most brakes, batteries, diagnostics and maintenance are done the same day when you call before 10 am. Your price is locked in writing before we start. Weekday mornings fill first.
